Where prices come from
One public source, recorded tick by tick.
The server polls the source, stores every price it sees, and decides tickets only from those records. Your screen never decides anything.
Crypto and memecoins
Hyperliquid perpetual mid prices. PEPE trades there as kPEPE, the price of 1,000 PEPE, which keeps small moves readable.
Stocks
Perpetuals on Hyperliquid's xyz exchange that track each stock. Their price is set by traders there and can differ from the stock's own exchange.
Indices
The S&P 500 and the XYZ100 tech index, as index perps on the same exchange. They follow NYSE hours on STREAK.
